Marie joined the firm in 1998. She is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, the Minnesota Association of Black Lawyers, and the Minnesota State Bar Association, where she currently serves as a member of the Education Committee. She has been a speaker in several educational programs concerning consumer bankruptcy and was quoted in the Minnesota Lawyer newspaper concerning the responsibility of attorneys to their clients in bankruptcy cases. She is admitted to practice in the Minnesota state and federal courts, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. Marie uses her knowledge and experience to partner with her clients so they can regain their financial footing.
